Dr. Albert Ayeni, a graduate of University of lbadan, Nigeria (B.Sc. Crop Science), and Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA (MS., Ph.D.), has 27 years research, teaching, and extension experience in weed science and agronomy under tropical and temperate conditions. College/New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (Cook/NJAES) International Programs. His professional accomplishments include 90 publications in international journals, proceedings, and books; direction of nine Ph.D. and several other research theses; teaching of weed science and agronomic principles and practices at undergraduate and graduate levels; and giving extension talks on weed management in turf and ornamentals in New Jersey. In his current position Albert coordinates university- and college-wide international collaborations in Brazil, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Nigeria, Puerto Rico, Senegal, South Africa, and Uzbekistan. He is married to Emily and together they have three sons. |
